The White Cap Motor Inn
The White Cap Moter Inn features the following amenties:

8 regular rooms and 26 two-bedroom suites. Each room has the following amenities:
- Full bathroom
- Satellite TV
- Direct dial phone with voice mail
- Fridge
- Coffee maker
We have a quiet location away from the main highway.
At an altitude of 4,200 feet, Wells and Barkerville have about 42 frost-free nights annually. That means that even in the clear summer night, we may still get frost. Don’t worry, it usually disappears at sunrise. Now you know why we don’t feature air conditioning - it’s just not necesssary! In fact no building in Wells has air conditioning.
Pet Policy
Generally, we do not make any claims to be pet friendly, but we do allow guests to bring their pets into certain rooms provided:
- We are notified both at the time of booking and at check in.
- Pets must be well behaved and well supervised at all times
- Pets are not left in the rooms unattended at any time
- Owners are responsible for any damages
- Owners must comply with the local bye laws that require dogs to be on a leash at all times and owners to clear up after their pets.
Keep in mind Barkerville Historic Townsite does not allow pets within the site. Pets must be left in the owner’s car in the car park. There are no kennel facilities in Wells and area.
